Jumpstart My Biz
Our 5-week start-up boot camp focuses on understanding and mapping foundational concepts to equip entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge needed to start a successful business. Participants leave with an entrepreneurial mindset, a completed Business Model Canvas, a registered business, and a 90-day Jumpstart Plan.

One-On-One Business Coaching
Our 6-month one-on-one coaching and advisory service helps entrepreneurs not only develop ambitious goals but hold themselves accountable for success. The program provides the support and resources entrepreneurs need to push their business to the next phase.

Networking & Information Sessions
We are committed to coordinating networking and other social events to bring together program participants and other members of the community, as well as organizing topic-specific information sessions, panel discussions, and workshops in partnership with other businesses in the community.

Bookkeeping Support
We offer culturally responsive financial coaching and counseling to Black Coloradans statewide through virtual platforms. Our goal is to enhance financial management through strategies that uplift credit building, debt management and reduction, increased savings, and asset retention/creation. In 2023, ten entrepreneurs received bookkeeping support, leaving them ready to apply for loans or investments.

Vision Board Party
An annual, community-wide event hosted in December to bring members of the community together to develop their visions for the next year. Event participants are provided materials to create their own vision board with crayons, markers, and other craft supplies.

Grants
AYA’s grantmaking program serves to address the racial wealth gap by funding activities that build wealth and increase access to economic opportunities within Colorado’s Black community. The goal is to eliminate current equity gaps and provide sustainable support to the organizations to scale their operations with the chance of making the largest impact on the community.

Fiscal Sponsorship
AYA selectively sponsors new organizations that align with our vision & mission. This includes providing infrastructure and support to start-up organizations or social initiatives.
