Economic opportunity and access to financial resources are the foundation for true equity

AYA holds firmly to the belief that successful businesses are direct pathways to wealth, teach our children essential financial and economic skills, decrease the unemployment rate and circulate money within our community.  These factors alone create a significant decrease in economic disparities, allowing us to build thriving communities nationwide.

Through small cohort mastermind groups, workshops, events, and mentorship, AYA works with entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders to increase professional and financial acumen and leadership skills.

Grantmaking & Donor Funds

Economic opportunity and access to financial resources are the foundation for true equity.  AYA is creating a grant program designed to bring economic decision-making into the Black community so that the community has the power to decide which programs to invest in in order to increase agency and build a thriving community.

The AYA Foundation's grants will start with investments in organizations directly focused on closing the wealth gap and expand to focus on investing in other organizations rooted in meeting the needs of the community.
