The AYA Foundation is leading the Economic Revolution for the Black community in Colorado and beyond.  We are working toward a world in which our children do not face the same struggles that we’ve been through, and where future generations have equity and generational wealth.

Some of the ways we are evaluating progress toward long-term impact are:

• Increased agency for the Black community

• More entrepreneurs and professionals are in leadership positions and can take on responsibility in the community

• Black businesses are able to scale and hire more employees and are in a broader range of industries

• The Black community has shifted from a consumer economy to a producer economy

• The community has a strong economic foundation

• Community leaders are empowered to start and grow their organizations to fulfill community needs
